The Government has now banned the sale of the following items to consumers in England
Cotton buds
Cocktail stirrers
Plastic straws (exemptions exist in catering / food / Licensed premises )
As a retailer, if you have stock of cotton buds / plastic straws, you may continue to sell them until 31/4/21.
In a licensed / catering environment, you can provide straws, but must not have them on display or freely available to the public. You cannot provide plastic cocktail stirrers.
