One of Immingham’s most popular convenience stores has celebrated a sparkling re-launch to keep pace with its ever-increasing footfall.

The Today’s Local in Waterworks Street has undergone a major re-fit supported by the locally-based Dee Bee organisation and to mark the occasion an official re-launch took place with Dudley Ramsden, of the Grimsby-based Ramsden Group of Companies, cutting a ribbon to declare the new-look store open for business.

The store is well known in Immingham and has been run by Pam & Mick Singh, who arehanding over day-to-day management to theirson Manraj Singh. In addition to being given a major internal re-fit, the store has a new fascia and will also for the first time feature a hot drinks and snack food to go area.

Today’s is a nationally known brand hailing from Unitas Wholesale, the UK’s largest independent buying group with a buying power in excess of £8.5bn. There are more than 450 Today’s independent retailers nationwide.

Our photograph shows Dudley and Pam at the ribbon-cutting ceremony with other guests including Nick Ramsden, the group’s managing director, Nathan Niroshan, business development manager at Dee Bee Wholesale, and members of the store staff.
